Bring your whole family and join your cycling friends for a Bike Rally with a variety of routes to choose from.  Come early and stay late for entertainment and fun-filled activities the entire family can enjoy.  

It's the 22nd Annual Road Bike Rally!

64 Mile start at 9:00 a.m. 
28, 44, & 54 Miles start at 9:05 a.m.
14 Mile Family Fun Ride starts at 9:15 a.m.

Registration Fees:
$25 through August 31st
$30 After August 31st

Registration Discounts:
1/2 price for children ages 13 and under
Tandems - $5 off for second rider
Teams - $15 per person for groups of 10 or more
(all entries must be in one envelope, postmarked by August 31st)

Road Routes
You will ride through delightful scenery with light motor traffic and NO freeway service roads. The 28, 44, 54, and 64 mile routes start with several moderately rolling hills. The 54 mile route includes the infamous Leonard Hills - a series of challenging roller coaster hills with beautiful views at the crests. The 28-64 mile routes are not recommended for children 11 and under.

The Family Fun Road Ride is an easier 14 mile ride with a rest stop at the 6th mile. This ride is mostly flat terrain. Children 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Rest Stops
The rest stops will be located at every 10 or so miles, and incredibly friendly folks will serve fruit, cookies, water, and sport drinks. Each rest stop will be staffed with a registered nurse . Experienced ham radio operators and cellular phones will link all rest stops to the Fannin County Multi-Purpose Complex. Rest stops will close at 2:00 p.m. Showers are located across from the main Complex Building.

“REI is reserving a group camping space in Bonham State Park .  Camping at the park on Friday, September 21st will be free to Autumn in Bonham riders and their families.  REI is also discounting rental rates by 50%.  You can rent tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, backpacks and even camp stoves at this special rate for our riders.  There are REI locations in Dallas and Collin Counties .  The Dallas location (972-490-5989) is on Welch and 635.  The Collin County location is in Plano (972-985-2241) at Park and Preston .  Maps are listed below:

Safety Items:
Bicycle helmets are required of all cyclists
Cyclists must obey all Texas traffic laws: Ride as far to the right of the road as possible. 
Ride no more than two abreast.
Be courteous - Please allow cars to pass from behind.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult
No late starts on the road (9:45 a.m.)
