Bonham State Park

Bonham State Park is located 1.5 miles southeast of
Bonham on Hwy. 78, then two miles southeast on FM 271 to Park Road 24.
The park offers a selection of attractive and comfortable group
facilities which were built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the
1930’s. Entrance fee: Adult -$3 per person; Child (12 &
under)-free.

BOATING - 5MPH speed limit (no wake)
FISHING- Lighted fishing pier
CAMPING- Shaded campsites; Fee: $12 w/water,
$15 w/water and electricity
GROUP TENT CAMPING- Accommodates 50 people, Fee: $54 per night
plus entrance fees.
DUMPING- Dump Stations for gray and black water
PICNIC AREA- Swimming Area (unsupervised); 10
mile mountain bike trail
GROUPS- Picnic Pavilion- Accommodates approx.
75 people. Fees: $50 per day; Group barracks & dining hall -
$900.00 per night (plus tax, includes entrance fee into the park)
Lake Bonham Recreational
Area
Lake Bonham Recreational Area is located north of
Bonham near the dam of Recreational Road #3. Lake Bonham has a water
surface 1200 acres, large enough for skiing. The lake is stocked with
black bass, hybrid stripers, channel catfish, blue catfish, and
crappie.

BOATING- All boats permitted. Fee: $8 yearly
CAMPING- 81 shaded campsites; no reservations.
Fees: $6.00 Tents no hookups, $15.00 w/water and electricity, $12.00 for 65 years
& older.
DUMPING- No gray water allowed on ground
PICNIC AREA- Playground & swimming area
(unsupervised)
GOLF COURSE- 9 hole course- par 3 - Fee: $6.00
per day, $50.00 monthly, $200.00 yearly.
CONCESSION STAND- Soft drinks, food, bait,
fishing supplies, & groceries. Open Memorial Day through
Labor Day.
GROUPS- Pavilion – Accommodates Approx. 60 people.
Full range w/ oven & refrigerator Fees: 4/1-10/31 $95 full day,
$65 half day – 11/1-3/31 $80 full day $55 half; $25 deposit required.
